Once again this year, the Falstaff took on the Kremstal DAC Riedencup single-vineyard wines that came onto the market in the second half of the year. The density of top wines was again extremely high – there were 43 wines alone that achieved 94/100 or more points! It was very pleasing that our Riesling Ried Moosburgerin was able to keep up with the top field: With 95/100 points, it came sixth among the Rieslings of the 2023 vintage. What we like almost more than this great rating is the consistency that the Moosburgerin has demonstrated in recent years: the 2021 and 2020 vintages already received 95 points from Falstaff!

And this is what Falstaff says about our Moosburgerin:

“Pale yellow-green, silver reflections. Delicate white tropical fruit, a hint of peach, fresh lychee, floral nuances. Tightly woven, fine fruit sweetness in the core, finesse-rich acidity, multi-faceted chiseled, salty nuances in the finish, appears very light-footed, harmonious, shows good length, a promising food companion.”
