The vines are a good fifty years old \u2013 venerable, gnarled old fellows that still remain extremely healthy and deliver healthy grapes every vintage. The appeal of the wine lies its playful lightness combined with elegance and ripe acidity. One perceives mature yellow fruits in the nose and feels the wine prancing nimbly on the palate.
