The blend is often half-&amp;-half, but depending on the vintage and degree of ripeness, one of the two varieties could also predominate. The cuv\u00e9e is matured in small wooden casks, where it can rest for at least a year. Compared to our Zweigelt, it is softer, more velvety and a touch warmer, thanks to the Merlot.
