Our approximately 40-year-old, 0.5-hectare Zweigelt vineyard lies on pure loess, which imparts finesse and elegance to the wine. The élevage takes place partly in small and partly in large wooden casks, where the Zweigelt is allowed to mature for at least one year. This makes it particularly juicy and gives it its aroma of ripe cherries and red mulberries.
